Voter turnout almost double normal for an August primary. From memory, he said usual turnout would be expected to be above 400,000, but what they’ve seen is over 800,000.
Another point he was making is that both Non Aligned voters generally don’t vote in primaries because they can’t vote for candidates, and that given the overall numbers of Republican voters vs Democrats, quite a few Republicans are voting to support the pro-choice view.
